Tavernas

Last night, CYA arranged for all those who signed up to go to a taverna with a faculty member. For 15 Euro it was not the cheapest meal possible, but it was certainly worth the price. The food was fantastic. I can't even remember all that I had (and certainly can't remember the names) but it was all delicious. There was bread, feta cheese, some meatballs with herbs in them, fried zucchini (yes i know, i had zucchini!), and a stewed beef on top of french fries with some vegetables as well. All in all, i walked away stuffed. I have to find out what i had last night, because it was all very good. I was a bit worried about Greek food, but if last night was any indication of what's available...i don't think i'm going to have a problem. Greek food gets two thumbs up!

This weekend i'm hiking up Mt. Pendeli and hopefully going to the Acropolis/Agora/everything i can get to that surrounds the Acropolis. Look for pics then!

whining about the exchange rate will get you nowhere!

remember unless upon your return you want to be detained by 5-12 men in suits

it is your patriotic duty to praise the mighty American Dollar!!!!!!
